My interests range from the creative to the technical, the artistic to the scientific.
As a freshman, I participated in the Dean’s Scholars in Shakespeare Program, in which I co-wrote and co-directed a play starring my twelve classmates. Last semester, I interned with the GW English Department as Communications Liaison, writing for the GW English Blog. I’ve been a drummer since age 9, playing in jazz bands and pit orchestras throughout my academic career. I am also a coeditor of Le Culte du Moi literary magazine, which publishes creative writing in translation.
Not only have I seen approximately 140 of the IMDb Top 250 films of all time, I have acted as a Volunteer Judge for the DC Shorts Film Festival. During the summer of 2008, I appeared as an extra in the feature film Dare and worked on Ken Burns’ upcoming National Parks documentary as an intern at Florentine Films.
I volunteer with Camp Kesem GW, a non-profit summer camp for children whose parents have cancer. I am looking forward to my second summer as a Camp Kesem counselor this August.
